  4. Ah yes, this was when the Cavs would continue to get tortured by MJ and the Bulls year after year. But now they won the NBA title with their own #23. Kind of ironic if you think about it.

  5. Can you imagine any of the 2014 playoffs teams having the mental toughness to get past these Knicks? With all the complaining to the refs these days?

  6. they're not talking about the conference finals.. they're talking about the world championship.. you slow..

  7. Well,no,they would have no chance against the '00-'04 Lakers. Are you forgetting the 2003 Spurs? With TD,TP9,Manu,Bowen and a older D-Rob still putting up decent numbers would've taken out the '92 Blazers. The 2005 Spurs were even tougher(the best San Antonio of all time team IMO),the only team i agree that would've had trouble may have been the '07 Spurs. The Eastern Conference '00 to '08 was a very weak Era,the Western Conference '00 to '09 was always completely strong.

  8. The 92' Bulls was the best of their teams…. The 96' Bulls were great and many will say they are arguably the best team ever, but I still believe the 92' Bulls were the best of those 6 championship teams. Rodman was a freak of nature

  9. The Bulls defense was the reason Porter and Drexler could not perform to their normal standards. And the Blazers in 92' were better than the 90' team. Would they have beat the Lakers of the early 2000's maybe not, but they could have beaten the Spurs. The Spurs run in the mid 2000's was during the weakest era in NBA history. With all that said, both of our points have been made. No reason to really continue this conversation unless you want to.

  10. Continued……The Blazers were not great in the '92 Finals.Terry Porter choked, and Drexler shot a very decent 40% from the floor. They did not perform up to their best ability. If the Blazers had played in the 00's,would they had won a title? No,if the Lakers and Spurs had anything to do with it.Would they had won in the 80's?No,the Celtics,Lakers,Sixers, and Pistons would say different.Their best chance was probably the '90 Finals, but then again the Pistons had one last title run in them.

  11. Also, the '96-'98 Bulls had far more support than the '91-'93 Bulls.Plus playing with softer competition than they did '90-'94.Pippen was a shadow of himself during the 2nd 3peat,having a low shooting% Jordan was great, but his '87-'93 self was far better,so was his FG% and scoring ability and defense. But Rodman got even better..

  12. That's fine if you disagree, but like i said the '90 Pistons should've been knocked out by the Bulls. The 1990 Chicago squad were basically ready for the Pistons, but as i said they fell to the mental game just like they did in '88 and '89.In 1991 the Bulls were completely prepared for that tactic.Overcoming the mental game+Isiah's injury+everyone on the Detroit squad besides Isiah,Salley,Dumars and Rodman were over 32+ years old.The Pistons time had ran out.

  13. Furthermore… Jordan, Pippen and Rodman 3peated in their 30's so don't give this early 30's statement. The Bulls just ended everything for the Pistons in 91'… a 4-0 sweep speaks for itself… the Pistons couldn't even win a game

  14. I disagree with your 90' assessment because the Pistons still whipped a very talented Blazers team in the 90' Finals….. People have no idea how great those Blazers teams were from 90-92… in another era they would have won at least a title. But they choked against the lakers in 91' and faced two all time great teams in 90' an 92'. 92' was there best their best shot to win it all but they ran into the Bulls. A recurring theme for other great teams of the 90's in losing titles to the Bulls.

  15. Yep,i pointed that out on another video about the '98 Indiana Squad.Well IMO,the Bulls could've and should've beaten the Pistons in '90,the Pistons were aging. The main reason why the lost in '90,was because of the strong minded mental game the Pistons played against Chicago. But the 3 main reasons why the Bulls swept Detroit in '91:
1)Isiah's Career was cut short, only playing 48 games that year.
2)The Bulls used the same mind game against Detroit.
3)The majority of the Pistons were in their 30's.

  16. Or the 98 ECF against the Pacers….. Bulls were overmatched in 90'….. a brutal sweep of the pistons in 91' exorcised all the demons of pistons past

  17. the 92' bulls and the 96' bulls are two of the greatest teams ever…. but for my money, and i know you are asking about benches, the 92 bulls were better…. you know why?

    Jordan was 29…….

  18. Which Bulls bench was better? Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant, John Paxson and B.J. Armstrong, or Luc Longley, Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Toni Kukoč, and Dennis Rodman?

  19. i heard some where earlier some nba analyst and old nba players who are now on tv, they said that MJ would never allow the series to ever go to game 7…..then i saw this and said wtf? knicks vs bulls game 7….o.O looks like they forgot about that one
